Immediate opening with WorleyParsons West Coast Operations, an engineering & construction company in Arcadia, CA, is available for metallurgical / corrosion engineer for material selection and corrosion prevention in oil refinery, chemical processing, and/or in oil & gas production facilities and pipelines. Training/education should include some knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and materials of construction in the corrosive environments. Working knowledge of welding and welding procedure qualifications is an advantage. Some working knowledge of the ASME Pressure Vessel Code and/or relevant NACE standards is preferred. Candidates will work in the Material Applications group and under the supervision of Senior Materials Engineers. B.S. or M.S. degree in Materials Science is required.
